223Application of Parts 19 to 27 to ships of New Zealand Defence Force

  1. Without limiting section 4(2), Parts 19 to 27 shall apply to every warship and every other ship of the New Zealand Defence Force that is in waters outside the territorial sea of New Zealand, to the extent that those Parts apply to such waters.

  2. Despite subsection (1), Annex VI requirements do not apply to ships referred to in that subsection.
