You commit an offence if you break any rule in the Maritime Transport Act 1994 or its regulations. This includes rules that say you must make accurate entries in a record. You must also maintain accurate records and produce them to the Authority or the Director when asked. You have to follow these rules to avoid committing an offence. The rules are in place to ensure accurate information is kept. This is important for the Maritime Transport Act 1994. If you do not follow these rules, you can get in trouble. The rules are clear about what you must do. You can find more information about similar rules in the Maritime Transport Act and other related laws.
