The Governor-General can make rules about fees and charges for maritime purposes. You might have to pay fees for things like using facilities or getting services. The fees can be different for different people or ships. The rules can say who has to pay the fees and when they have to pay them. You might have to pay extra fees if you need something done outside normal working hours. The rules can also say how you can get a refund if you don't have to pay a fee. The rules about fees and charges are secondary legislation, which means they have to be published in a certain way, as explained in Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019. This helps make sure everyone knows about the rules. You can find more information about the rules by looking at the legislation.
