Food Act 2014

Risk-based measures - Food control plans - Registration of food control plans

61: Duration of registration

You could also call this:

"How long your food registration lasts"

When you register a food control plan, it is effective from the date of registration until a certain date. This date is either 12 months after the registration date or a later date that the registration authority tells you in writing. You will know the end date of your registration because it will be either after 12 months or when the authority says. Your registration can end in other ways, such as expiring due to a condition imposed under section 60, being cancelled under section 67, or being surrendered under section 71. You can renew your registration for more time by following the rules in Part 2 of Schedule 4.
