You can apply to the District Court for a compliance order if you are the chief executive or a territorial authority. You make this application to sort out a problem with someone who is not following the rules. The application must follow the rules set out in the District Court Rules 2014, and also the modifications made in sections 333 to 336 and rules made under section 342. You must make the application by originating application. This means you start the application process from the beginning. The District Court will then look at your application and make a decision.
