When you have a decision reviewed, the original decision is still valid until the reviewer changes or cancels it. You can find out more about the original decision in section 354(2) or (4). The reviewer's changes only affect the parts of the decision they modify or reverse.

If the reviewer only changes some parts of the decision, the other parts stay the same and are still valid. This means you still have to follow the parts that were not changed. The reviewer's decision will tell you what you need to do.

359Effect of review

  1. The original decision described in section 354(2) or (4) is valid until the reviewer modifies or reverses it.

  2. If the reviewer modifies or reverses some of the original decision, the parts that are not modified or reversed remain valid.
