When you run a food business, you must collect certain information. You need to collect the information that the regulations under section 390 or notices under section 405 say you must collect. You have to keep this information for as long as the regulations under section 390 or notices under section 405 say you must keep it.

You must keep the information in a secure place. You also have to report on the information as required by the regulations under section 390. This means you have to tell someone about the information you have collected, when the regulations say you must do so.

When you are running your food business, you have to follow these rules about collecting and keeping information. The regulations under section 390 and notices under section 405 will tell you what to do. You must do what they say to keep the information safe and report on it correctly.
