When you apply for a compliance order, the court can make a decision. The court can choose to make a compliance order or refuse to make one. You will know what the court decides.

The court can make a compliance order with conditions that it thinks are suitable. This might include giving security or entering into a bond to make sure something is done. The court gets to decide what conditions are appropriate.

The court can also decide that a compliance order applies to people who represent you, or who take over from you. This means the order will affect them in the same way it affects you. The order will apply to them to the same extent.

A compliance order starts when one of two things happens: the order is given to you, or a date stated in the order is reached. The order will take effect on the later of these two dates. This is when the compliance order officially starts.
