63: Registration authority may extend mandatory suspension

63Registration authority may extend mandatory suspension

  1. The registration authority may extend the period of a suspension under section 62 in accordance with clause 5 of Schedule 4 if the registration authority considers it necessary in the circumstances.

  2. The period of extension—

  3. may be for any further period that the registration authority notifies in writing to the operator of the food control plan before the expiry of the original suspension; but
    1. must not exceed 3 months.
