370Disclosing information outside New Zealand: rules
The chief executive may disclose information to an overseas person under this section.
The information that may be disclosed is—
- personal information, as defined in the Privacy Act 2020, that is supplied or obtained under or for the purposes of this Act; and
- information about a food business that includes, to avoid doubt, confidential information or commercially sensitive information, or both.
The disclosure may be made only if—
- section 371 is satisfied; or
- section 373 is satisfied.
