157: Recognised agency or person may act in other capacities

157Recognised agency or person may act in other capacities

  1. Nothing in section 155 or 156 prevents a recognised agency or a recognised person from carrying out functions and activities that are outside the scope of the agency's or person's specified functions and activities, provided that the agency or person does not do so—

  2. in the agency's or person's capacity as a recognised agency or a recognised person; or
    1. while purporting to act as a recognised agency or a recognised person.
