When you look at sections 345 and 347, you can use them to exempt food that is also an animal material or animal product under the Animal Products Act 1999. You can exempt this food even if it is covered by the Animal Products Act 1999. Sections 345 and 347 do not change how notices or regulations made under the Animal Products Act 1999 are applied.

Nothing in sections 345 or 347 limits or affects notices made under section 60B of the Animal Products Act 1999. You should note that sections 345 and 347 also do not limit or affect regulations made under section 60B or section 166 of the Animal Products Act 1999. These sections work together with the Animal Products Act 1999.
