Food Act 2014

Risk-based measures - National programmes - Removal of registration of food business

94: Removal from public register

You could also call this:

"When a food business is no longer registered, it gets taken off the public list."

If you have a food business that is part of a national programme, the chief executive might cancel your registration or you might surrender it. This can happen if the chief executive cancels your registration under section 95 or if you surrender it under section 98. The chief executive will be told about the cancellation or surrender. When this happens, the chief executive must update the public register as soon as possible. The chief executive will record that your registration has been cancelled or surrendered on the public register. Then, the chief executive will remove your food business from the public register.
