169: Means of consultation

You could also call this:

"How the chief executive talks to you about important things and listens to your thoughts."

Illustration for Food Act 2014

When the chief executive needs to talk to you or a group of people about something, they must tell you what it's about. They can do this by giving you a written notice or by following the rules in section 168. The chief executive must give you a fair chance to write down your thoughts about the matter. They might also give you a chance to talk to them in person about it, if they say so in the notice. The chief executive has to think about what you say when you give them your thoughts on the matter.
