15: On-licences: BYO restaurants

You could also call this:

“Rules for restaurants that let customers bring their own alcohol”

If you have a restaurant with a special licence, you can let people drink alcohol they bring with them when they come to dine. You can also let them take away any leftover alcohol if the container is sealed. You are allowed to sell food and hot drinks that have a small amount of alcohol in them, as long as it is not more than 14.33% alcohol by volume. You can also let people drink alcohol in your restaurant. This is because of the rules set out in section 37 for restaurants with this type of licence.
