"How to fill out a licence application form correctly"

When you apply for a licence, you must do it in your own name or your club's name. You have to use the correct form and follow the right steps. Your application must include all the necessary details. If your application is about a specific place, you need to say that the building owner has a plan to get people out safely, as required by section 76 of the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017, or that they do not need to have one. You must also pay the required fee and, in most cases, get a certificate from the local council saying your plans meet the requirements of the Resource Management Act 1991 and the building code.
