Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Sale and supply of alcohol generally - Offences and closure of premises - Miscellaneous provisions

275: Liability of licensees for offences by managers

You could also call this:

"Bar owners are responsible if they help their managers break alcohol laws"

If you have a licence to sell alcohol, you are not responsible for any mistakes your manager makes, unless you are involved in the mistake. You are in charge of your premises, but your manager's actions are not always your fault. If you want to know more about similar rules, you can look at s 181.
