Licensing trusts, community trusts, and other matters - Community trusts - Trustees

370: Election of trustees

You could also call this:

"Choosing people to help make decisions for your community trust"

When you are part of a community trust, you need to elect trustees. Except for the first trustees, the election of trustees happens according to the rules in sections 371 to 373. You elect these trustees to help make decisions for your community trust.

You hold elections for trustees on the same day as the triennial general elections for territorial authorities. These elections are run under the Local Electoral Act 2001. This means you vote for your community trust trustees at the same time as you vote for your local council members.
