206Right of persons to appear in relation to certain applications for variation, suspension, and cancellation
This section applies to the following proceedings:
- an application for the variation, suspension, or cancellation of a licence under section 280:
- an application for the suspension or cancellation of a licence in respect of certain offences under section 281:
- an application for the variation, suspension, or cancellation of special licences under section 283:
- an application for the suspension or cancellation of a manager's certificate under section 285:
- an application for the suspension of a licence for non-compliance with public health or fire precaution requirements under section 286.
The following persons may appear and be heard, whether personally or by counsel, and call, examine, and cross-examine witnesses:
- the applicant:
- the respondent.
With the leave of the chairperson of the licensing committee or the licensing authority (as the case may be), the following persons may appear and be heard, whether personally or by counsel, and call evidence:
- any inspector:
- any constable:
- any Medical Officer of Health.
