Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Sale and supply of alcohol generally - Licensing generally, requirements on licensees, and conditions - Miscellaneous licensing provisions

66: Record of applications

You could also call this:

"A record of all alcohol licence applications and decisions made by the licensing committee."

The secretary of each licensing committee keeps a record of every application they get and the decision they make on it. You can think of this record like a big book that stores all the information about the applications. The secretary also keeps a register of people who have special licences, which includes all the important details about those licences.

If you want to see some of the information in these records, you can ask the secretary of the licensing committee and they will give you an extract, but you have to pay a fee. The secretary has to send a copy of every application and every decision to the secretary of the licensing authority, so they have all the information too.

The rules about keeping these records are similar to rules in the past, which you can read about in s 221 if you are interested.
