Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Sale and supply of alcohol generally - Licensing generally, requirements on licensees, and conditions - Other restrictions and requirements

62: No bring-your-own alcohol in clubs

You could also call this:

“Clubs that sell alcohol: you can't drink your own.”

When you are at a club that has a licence to sell alcohol, you cannot drink alcohol that you brought with you. The person in charge of the club must make sure you do not drink any alcohol that they did not sell or supply to you while you are on their premises. They have to do this to follow the rules of their club licence.
