305: Functions of licensing trust

You could also call this:

"What a licensing trust is allowed to do"

A licensing trust has some main jobs. You know a licensing trust can sell and supply alcohol. It can also set up and run places where people can buy alcohol, stay overnight, eat food, and have refreshments.

A licensing trust can do other businesses that go well with these main jobs. When a licensing trust does its jobs, it can do things that a person can do, and it can also issue debt securities, which is a way for it to borrow money.

You can find more information about this by looking at s 187 and other related laws, such as ss 17 and 18.
