Licensing trusts, community trusts, and other matters - Licensing trusts - Amalgamation of licensing trusts

341: Notice of amalgamation proposal

You could also call this:

"When licensing trusts want to merge, they must inform the public about their plan to join together."

When two or more licensing trusts want to join together, they must tell the public about their plan. You have the right to ask for a meeting about this plan, as stated in section 342, and you also have the right to ask for a poll, as stated in section 343. The notice they give must include this information.

The plan to join the trusts must include the names of the people who will be the first members of the new trust and the proposed name of the new trust. The trusts can also add any other information they think is necessary to help you understand the plan. This is so you can make an informed decision about the proposal.

The trusts must make sure you have all the information you need to know about the plan to join them together. They want to make sure you are properly informed about what is happening. You can find more information about how this process works by looking at the details of the plan.
