If you are part of a licensing trust that wants to convert to a community trust, you must tell the public about your decision. You have to do this within 10 working days of making the decision, as stated in section 351. You must give public notice of the decision.

When you give public notice, you have to remind people that they have the right to ask for a meeting, as stated in section 353, or to require a poll, as stated in section 355. This is so people know what they can do if they want to have a say in the decision.
