Licensing trusts, community trusts, and other matters - Licensing trusts - Members

319: Deputy president

You could also call this:

"The deputy president is a person chosen to replace the president if they are away or unable to do their job."

The members of a licensing trust can choose one of themselves to be the deputy president. You need to know that the deputy president will act as the president if the president is away or cannot do their job. The deputy president can do everything the president can do while they are acting as president.

When the deputy president does something the president would normally do, it is proof that they have the authority to do it. This means you can trust that the deputy president has the power to make decisions and take actions on behalf of the president. The deputy president's actions are valid and should be respected.

You can find more information about this by looking at s 197 for comparison. This will help you understand how the role of the deputy president works in different situations. It is a good idea to check the link to learn more about the law.
