Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Sale and supply of alcohol generally - Licensing generally, requirements on licensees, and conditions - Miscellaneous licensing provisions

74: Temporary licence during repairs, etc

You could also call this:

“Selling alcohol from a different place while your shop is being fixed”

If you have a licence to sell alcohol, you might need to stop selling it at your premises for a while. This could be because of a fire, storm, or earthquake that has made your premises unsafe. You might also need to stop selling alcohol if you are repairing, altering, or rebuilding your premises. You can ask the licensing committee for permission to sell alcohol from a different location while your premises are being fixed. The licensing committee can give you permission to sell alcohol from another location for as long as you need it, and while you have this permission, the other location is treated as if it were your licensed premises.
