Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Sale and supply of alcohol generally - Licensing bodies - Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority

173: Licensing authority may give directions where licensing committee in doubt

You could also call this:

"The licensing authority helps you by giving directions when you're not sure which committee to apply to."

If you are unsure about which licensing committee to apply to, you can ask the licensing authority for help. The authority will give you directions that you must follow. These directions will override the usual rules about which committee to apply to.

You can find more information about this by looking at s 93. The licensing authority's directions are important and must be followed. They will help you figure out what to do if you are in doubt.
