170Functions of licensing authority

  1. The licensing authority's functions are—

  2. to consider and determine the following matters when referred to it by licensing committees:
    1. applications for licences:
      1. applications by licensees for the renewal or variation of licences:
        1. applications for manager's certificates:
          1. applications for the renewal of manager's certificates; and
          2. to consider and determine appeals from decisions of licensing committees; and
            1. to consider and determine appeals against elements of draft local alcohol policies; and
              1. to consider and determine applications by inspectors and constables for the variation, suspension, or cancellation of licences and manager's certificates; and
                1. any other functions conferred on it by or under this Act or any other enactment.
