Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Sale and supply of alcohol generally - Licensing generally, requirements on licensees, and conditions - Kinds of licence and their effect

16: On-licences: caterers

You could also call this:

“Selling alcohol at parties with a special licence”

If you have a special kind of on-licence, you can do some extra things. You can take alcohol from the place where you got the licence and sell it at another place where people are having a party or gathering. You can only do this if someone else is organising the party, not you. You must follow the rules in section 14 and your licence must be endorsed under section 38.
