Minister makes direction to refer matter to local authority
149YEPA must refer matter to local authority if direction made by Minister
This section applies if the Minister makes a direction under section 147(1)(c) to refer a matter lodged with the EPA to the local authority.
The EPA must give notice of the Minister's direction to the local authority and the applicant.
The EPA must also—
- provide the local authority with—
- the matter; and
- all the material received by the EPA that relates to the matter; and
- the matter; and
- inform the local authority that it must process the matter in accordance with
section 149Z.
