Environment Court - Procedure and powers

286: Enforcing orders for costs

You could also call this:

“How to make someone pay for court costs when the Environment Court says they should”

If the Environment Court orders someone to pay costs, they can make sure the order is followed. You can file the order at the District Court office named in the order. Once you do this, the order becomes like a judgment from the District Court in its civil cases. This means you can use the District Court’s powers to make sure the costs are paid.
