Resource Management Act 1991

Interpretation and application

3A: Person acting under resource consent with permission

You could also call this:

“Acting under someone else's resource consent with their permission”

If you have permission from the person who holds a resource consent, you can act under that consent as if it was granted to you too. This means you can do the activities allowed by the resource consent, but you must follow any specific conditions included in the consent. You can find more information about this in section 134, which has more details about how this works.
