Resource consents - Application for resource consent

"Waiting for more information before deciding on a resource consent application"

When you apply for a resource consent, the consent authority might decide not to process your application right away. This can happen if they think you will need other resource consents under the Resource Management Act 1991 for your proposal. They might want you to apply for these other consents first so they can better understand your proposal. If the consent authority makes this decision, they will tell you about it straight away. You can then apply to the Environment Court to overturn their decision.
