“When you can't get jobseeker support”

You can’t get jobseeker support if you are a full-time student, unless you meet special conditions. You also can’t get it if you’re unemployed because you or other members of your union at your workplace are on strike. Lastly, you won’t be eligible if the Ministry of Social Development thinks you became unemployed or took leave from your job to do employment-related training.
