183CIf person’s spouse or partner does not have jobseeker profile completed

1. This section applies if—

2. a person specified in section 183A(1) (P) has a spouse or partner who is required to have a jobseeker profile completed to MSD’s satisfaction under section 183A(3); and
3. P’s spouse or partner fails to have the jobseeker profile completed to MSD’s satisfaction within the period allowed under section 183D(1).

4. If this section applies under subsection (1), it applies until—

5. P’s spouse or partner has the jobseeker profile completed to MSD’s satisfaction; or
6. MSD revokes the requirement under section 183A(3) for P’s spouse or partner to have the jobseeker profile completed to MSD’s satisfaction.

7. P receives the following forms of assistance (if all or any of them is granted) at the following rate or rates only:

8. any benefit referred to in section 183A(1) that P is granted, at half of the rate of that benefit payable to a beneficiary—
   1. who is in a relationship; and
   2. whose spouse or partner is not granted a benefit in the spouse’s or partner’s own right; and
9. the accommodation supplement, temporary additional support, or both (if any), to which P and P’s spouse or partner would apart from this subsection be entitled, at half of the otherwise applicable rate or rates.
