183C: If person’s spouse or partner does not have jobseeker profile completed

You could also call this:

"What happens if your spouse or partner doesn't complete their jobseeker profile on time"

If you have a spouse or partner who needs to complete a jobseeker profile, but they do not do it to the Ministry of Social Development's satisfaction, this section applies to you. Your spouse or partner must complete the profile within the time allowed under section 183D(1). If they do not, this section applies until they complete the profile or the Ministry of Social Development cancels the requirement under section 183A(3).

You will receive some forms of assistance at a reduced rate if this section applies to you. If you get a benefit, you will get it at half the normal rate for someone in a relationship whose spouse or partner is not getting a benefit. You will also get the accommodation supplement, temporary additional support, or both, at half the normal rate.

The reduced rate applies to benefits mentioned in section 183A(1) and to the accommodation supplement and temporary additional support. You will get these at half the rate you would normally get if your spouse or partner had completed their jobseeker profile to the Ministry of Social Development's satisfaction.
