Assistance - Hardship assistance

97: Temporary additional support: refusal, reduction, or cancellation of grant in certain circumstances

You could also call this:

“You might get less or no extra money if you or your partner do certain things”

If you apply for temporary additional support, the government can refuse, reduce, or cancel your support if they think you or your partner have done certain things. These things include changing your money situation to qualify for support, not trying to lower your costs or increase your income, or not seeking help from other places you might be able to get it. The government can decide not to give you the support, give you less support, lower the support you’re already getting, or stop your support completely if they believe you’ve done any of these things.
