Land Transport Act 1998

Motor vehicle registration and licensing - Regulations

270: Fees and charges identified as land transport revenue

You could also call this:

“Rules about money collected for roads and transport”

This part of the law talks about fees and charges that are considered land transport revenue. These fees are set by rules called regulations. If these regulations are cancelled, the fees go back to what they were before the regulations were made. If you paid more than you should have because of cancelled regulations, you might get your money back. The government can also decide to change or cancel these regulations, and if that happens, you might get a refund for any extra money you paid. This law helps make sure that the fees for land transport are fair and can be changed if needed.
