“When a transport service driver can be stopped from driving certain vehicles”

If you are a transport service driver, the Director can stop you from driving vehicles used in transport services. This can happen if the Director thinks you are not fit and proper to drive these vehicles. The Director can stop you from driving for up to 10 years. This rule applies to all transport services except rental services. The Director can also choose to stop you from driving only for certain types of transport services.

The Director decides if you are fit and proper based on rules in subpart 2 of Part 4A of the law. This part of the law explains what makes someone fit and proper to drive transport service vehicles.
