139AAC: Annual quality assurance of automated infringement system

You could also call this:

“Yearly check to make sure the traffic fine computer is working properly and protecting people's information”

Every year, the Agency must make sure that the automated infringement system is checked for quality. This check is to make sure the system can still do two important things:

First, it needs to be able to confirm the information mentioned in section 139AAA(1). This section likely describes what the system needs to verify.

Second, the system must be able to handle personal information correctly. This means it needs to collect, keep, use, and share personal information in a way that follows the rules set out in the Privacy Act 2020.

This yearly check helps ensure that the automated infringement system keeps working properly and respects people’s privacy.
