Driver licensing

28A: Transitional provisions for photographic driver licences

You could also call this:

“Rules about using old driver licences and getting new ones”

You might have an old driver licence that shows the date it was issued. Even though the law has changed, you can keep using this old licence. The date will stay on your licence until you get a new one or renew your current one. When you do get a new licence or renew your old one, it will follow the new rules about what information is shown. This change is part of the rules for driver licences in New Zealand.
