55Tampering with vehicle surveillance equipment or point-to-point average speed system
A person commits an offence if the person—
- tampers with approved vehicle surveillance equipment or a point-to-point average speed system; or
- interferes with—
- approved vehicle surveillance equipment or a point-to-point average speed system; or
- the operation of approved vehicle surveillance equipment or a point-to-point average speed system.

The maximum penalty on conviction for an offence against subsection (1) is a fine not exceeding $5,000.
