128AEnforcement officer's powers in respect of non-complying small passenger service vehicles

  1. An enforcement officer who is in uniform or who produces evidence of identity as an enforcement officer may direct the driver of any small passenger service vehicle that is not in compliance with any rule or regulation to cease making the vehicle available for hire and to remove the vehicle from any designated stand until such time as the vehicle is in compliance with the regulations or the rules.
