“How the government tells you about and handles your driving suspension”

If the Director suspends you under section 87D, they must send you a notice. This notice will tell you why you’re being suspended. It will also let you know that the suspension starts either when you get the notice or on a later date mentioned in the notice. The notice will explain that you can tell the Director what you think about the suspension, and that you can appeal the decision under section 106.

After you tell the Director what you think about the suspension, they will think about what you’ve said as soon as they can. Then, they will let you know what they’ve decided.
