This law applies to you if your driver licence is suspended for any reason except under section 95, or if you are disqualified from driving for 12 months or less. When your suspension or disqualification period ends, your driver licence doesn’t automatically start working again. You need to ask the Director to give you back your licence. The Director can only give you back your licence if the rules allow it. They will follow the regulations and rules when deciding whether to reinstate your licence.
