If a water organisation asks you to make a development contribution, you can ask them to think again if you believe they made a mistake. You might think they calculated the contribution incorrectly, applied their policy wrongly, or used incorrect information. You need to follow the process outlined in the water organisation's development contributions policy under section 125 to ask for a reconsideration. You must make your request within 10 working days of receiving notice of the contribution amount from the water organisation.

If you have already objected to the contribution requirement under section 133, you cannot ask for a reconsideration. The water organisation will decide on your request according to their policy. You should check the policy to see how they will make their decision.
