You need to know what a territorial authority does with trade waste discharge plans and bylaws. A territorial authority must review each trade waste discharge plan for its district and each trade waste bylaw made from a plan. You will see this happen for plans and bylaws in your area.

The territorial authority must finish its review within 10 years of making the plan or bylaw, or within 10 years of the last review. This means the authority checks the plans and bylaws regularly.

When reviewing a trade waste discharge plan or bylaw, the territorial authority follows the rules set out in section 264(2) to (5), but it reads "bylaw" as "plan" when reviewing a plan.
