If you do something careless with a water supply network, you might cause a big risk. You can commit an offence if your careless actions cause a serious risk. This can happen if you do not take proper care when dealing with a water supply network.

If you are found guilty of this offence, you can get a big fine. As an individual, your fine can be up to $50,000. As a company or organisation, your fine can be up to $1 million.

You can look at similar laws, such as s 403, to learn more about this. This law is part of the rules that help keep our water supply safe. You should be careful when working with water supply networks to avoid causing any serious risks.
