"Mistakes in a compliance order don't always make it invalid"

Illustration for Local Government (Water Services) Act 2025

If you get a compliance order, it is still valid even if it has some mistakes or is not filled out correctly. The order is only invalid if the mistakes are so bad that they might cause an unfair result. You can look at a similar law from 2022, s 394, to compare. This means the compliance order will still be enforced unless the mistakes are very serious.
