If you ask a water organisation to reconsider a decision about a development contribution, they must tell you what they decide within 15 working days of getting all the information they need. They have to give you this information in writing. You can find out how they made their decision by looking at what they did under section 131. If you do not agree with the water organisation's decision, you can object to it, and you can find out how to do this by looking at section 133. The water organisation has to follow the rules when making their decision, and these rules are part of the Local Government (Water Services) Act 2025.
