344: Report

You could also call this:

"A report is written after a review to tell what was found and what should happen next."

Illustration for Local Government (Water Services) Act 2025

When a review is finished, the person doing the review must write a report. The report must include what the review was about, how it was done, what issues were looked at, what was found, and what is recommended. The recommendations might include changes to water services laws, how local governments provide water services, or other regulatory schemes.

The report must also include any actions the Minister might consider taking under Part 10 of the LGA 2002. You will also see other matters in the report that the reviewer thinks are important. The reviewer must give the report to the Minister as soon as it is finished.

The reviewer has to make sure the Minister gets the report promptly. This is so the Minister can look at the report and decide what to do next. The report is an important part of the review process.
